Celebrity bottles have always been popular. Over the years, dozens of musicians have given their names to a variety of wines, with varying degrees of involvement. While some celebrities may spend little time monitoring the harvest and regard owning a winery as a branding exercise, other rock star winemakers have won awards for their wines on the competition circuit. Here are some wines created by respected musicians and their winemaker partners that are true artist collaborations.

The Cattier house sold one of its brands, Armand de Brignac, to Sovereign Brands in 2014, and the American group sold it to rapper Jay Z two years later. Later, in response to racist remarks made by a Roederer official, Jay Z called for a boycott of the Cristal cuvée, which had previously been popular among rappers. Take this opportunity to introduce the Ace of Spades Armand de Brignac collection, which comes in golden, silver, and pink bottles. Today, the goal appears to have been met.
