When it comes to building religious structures, India knows how to get things right. In a couple of years, a new building will be constructed in India and will become the world’s religious building – The Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir.

The Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, conducted by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, will be located in Uttar Pradesh and will rise to a height of about 700 feet (213 meters or 70 floors) and a built-up area of 540,000 sq. ft. (~50,000 sq. m.) The project is set in 62 acres of land and includes 12 acres for parking and a helipad. The site is currently under construction and is expected to be complete in 2022. With an estimated cost of ₹700 crores, it will also be one of the most expensive temples in the world.
The Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir Complex To Have Four Temples And 12 Forests
The site considered as the biggest dedication to Hindu deity Lord Sri Krishna will be surrounded by 30 acres of forest, divided into twelve sections representing the twelve forests of Braj. The complex will also include a heritage museum, a Radha-Krishna recreational park, a boating zone, a skywalk, rides for kids, a capsule elevator and much more.
