The 100% Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie

This XL-sized, Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie is the right option for those who don’t have an oven at home. This week, try Sabrina Fauda Rôle’s gourmet chocolate cookies recipe from her last book. This recipe for a giant chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron pan will melt the hearts of all dessert lovers.







For 6 persons

Preparation: 5 minutes

Cooking: 15 minutes

Rest: 15 minutes

Material: A 25 cm pan



150 g of flour

50 g refined sugar

25 g of whole sugar

1 teaspoon of yeast

1 egg

100 g salted butter

10g cocoa powder

50 g of crushed chocolate or chocolate chips (your choice: dark, milk, white, or a mixture)









Mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa and sugars.

In a pan, melt the butter over very low heat then, off the heat, add the egg and mix well.

Add all the dry ingredients and mix again until getting a smooth texture.

Cook for 10 minutes then press chocolate chips into the dough.

Cover and cook for another 5 minutes.

Let cool 15 minutes before eating.

We love complementing creamy ice cream to add a little textural contrast.
