One week of Film screening to celebrating President Ho Chi Minh’s 130th birthday






A film week held by the Cinematography department in coordination with film studios, film distributors, Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, to celebrate President Ho Chi Minh’s 130th birthday, May 19, will take place from May 19 to 26, in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.  Films such as ‘Trang Dai Ngan’ (The Moon in the Forest), ‘Dat Goi’ (The Call from the Land), two films by Giai Phong Joint Stock Film Company; ‘Truong Son Co Nhung Co Bo Doi Lai Xe’ (Female Drivers in Truong Son Range), ‘Chim Sat Ngay Xua’ (Aircraft in the Past), one animated film ‘Vang Sang Am Ap’ (Warm Glow) by the Vietnam Animation Studio plus two documentaries by the Central Documentary and Scientific Films Studio will be released free to the public. In Hanoi, the films will be screened at the National Cinema Center (87 rue Lang Ha), at the Cinéma d’Août (45 rue Hàng Bài) and in HCMC in many other theaters.
