For the sixth installment of the gallery Noirfoto’s group program, an exciting mix of mediums come together to create a diverse showcase of photography.
The showing opens from Friday, April 23rd and features the work of two photographers: Hagan Nguyen and Brice Coutagne.
Nguyen, a Vietnamese visual artist, explores ‘overpainted photography,’ a technique that utilizes the visual effects of painting viewed through photography to create deep and engaging works.
Coutagne, a French-born photographer now living in Vietnam who also goes by Bui Doi, presents a collection of 100 small images of familiar, everyday objects that, all together, create a mesmerizing view of the fragments that make up life.
The work of these emerging artists features at Noirfoto from April 23rd to May 22, 2021 with an opening event on the 23rd from 6pm – 9pm. ‘Noirfoto Group Show’ is a unique exhibition style that allows artists to learn, collaborate, and display their works through participating in the photography program.
Venue: 199bis Nguyễn Văn Hưởng, Thảo Điền, Quận 2, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh
