–  FRIEZE LOS ANGELES (February 17 – 20);

–  FRIEZE NEW YORK (May 18 – 22);

ARCOmadrid (February 23 – 27) is Spain’s international contemporary art fair since 1982 and one of the primary art market platforms dedicated to the promotion of artistic creation.

 

ART DUBAI (March 11 – 13) for the fifteen years of its existence has become the leading platform for presenting Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian art. This year, artworks from more than a hundred galleries spanning forty countries exhibited in such sections as Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and new Digital segment.

 

BIENNALE OF SYDNEY (March 12 – June 13) is one of the oldest and first Biennales in the Asia-Pacific region. Held every two years in Sydney, it presents meaningful innovations in art by authors not only from the continent of Australia, but from around the world.

 

 

 

 

 

The Basel brand’s largest fairs

 

ART BASEL (June 16 – 19, Switzerland) is a key venue for one of the most iconic annual events in the world of contemporary art, which first opened to the viewer back in 1970. Art Basel demonstrates the art of the XX-XXI centuries, which annually attracts tens of thousands of people from all continents, including a wide range of dealers and art collectors.

 

ART BASEL HONG KONG (March 24 – 26). This major international event brings works from the best galleries from Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin and North America. One hundred and thirty-seven galleries from different countries will represent their works this year.

 

ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH (December 1 – 3). This event features art objects from the leading galleries of five continents, concurrent with a large number of satellite fairs that take place at the same time surrounding this South Florida event.

 

MIART (April 1 – 3). Providing visitors with an opportunity to explore both, contemporary and last century artworks, this fair is a chance to replenish knowledge on art objects of years past and feel the energy of their cultural heritage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

VENICE BIENNALE (April 23 – November 27) is a world art forum with more than one hundred and twenty years of history, where the art of participating countries is presented in national pavilions set in different years of the XX century. This year, the topic of the biennial, “THE MILK OF DREAMS,” was determined by the book of writer and surrealist artist Leonora Carrington.

 

BERLIN BIENNALE (June 11 – September 18) is a contemporary art exhibition, which has been held at various locations in Berlin, Germany, every two to three years since 1998. The event showcases remarkable creations while identifying and critically examining the latest trends in the art world.

 

LISTE ART FAIR BASEL (June 13 – 19). Founded in 1996, the organizers of Liste spotlight young contemporary artists, exhibiting works in both solo and group exhibitions within the framework of the fair.

 

VIENNACONTEMPORARY (September 8-11) is Vienna’s leading contemporary art fair with roughly 110 participating galleries from 26 countries. This platform unites representatives of both Eastern and Western European art in a single space.

 

DOCUMENTA FIFTEENTH (June 18 – September 25) is a large-scale quinquennial exhibition of contemporary art held in Germany (Kassel). In 2022, art objects will be presented by both individual authors and art groups from Kenya, Argentina, Cambodia, Vietnam, Mexico, China, Spain, and other countries.

 

FIAC (October 20 – 23). Held annually in France, FIAC is one of the largest fairs in Europe, hosting galleries from around the world, generating ideas for the present and the future.

 

Currently, Henry Mova is in Dubai, discovering new contemporary art objects and their authors at Expo 2020 while exploring various city galleries in addition.
