“The Silence is Deafening” brings a wide-ranging body of Thuy’s recent work, centering on the themes of reflection, mourning, and restoration amid a year of global tumult. The show will also feature styles and materials that differ from Thuy’s early work, such as lacquer and new experimentation with space.

With regards to her upcoming show “The Silence is Deafening,” the artist explains, ““I wish to create a space of silence, where tragedies are happening. Illusions of mundane life, selfishness, indifference, and fear delivering us a world without any sound – A dead world.”

Le Thuy has been featured in the Young Talent Programme by Affordable Art Fair Singapore and her work is part of collections in both Vietnam and private galleries around the world.
