The third North East India Festival is slated to take place from October 27 to 29 in 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The purpose of this event organized by Anu Mahanta, is to strengthen business ties with South East Asia while showcasing and promoting the rich culture of North East India.
The three-day event will feature a variety of products from the North Eastern region, including textiles, agri-horticultural products, B2B trade meetings, tourism business meetings. The festival will also feature an exciting schedule of performances and cultural events such as musical and dance performances, dinners, fashion shows…
The opening ceremony of this illustrious festival will be hosted by ShyamkMadan Mohan Sethi, the Indian consul general in Ho Chi Minh City, and esteemed guests are anticipated to attend, including chief ministers, union ministers, and businesspeople. This year’s festival has a broad range of objectives, including fostering intercultural dialogue, academic exchanges between both nations, policy-level discussions, and the potential for new flight services between Ho Chi Minh City and Guwahati.
