Certain spices, herbs or extracts can add an unexpected touch of flavor to your favorite drink while providing additional health benefits. First, you just have to choose a good quality coffee, like The Coffee Tree one, then you have to add the right ingredients, but which ones?

The right ingredients

Cinnamon to keep you young

Cinnamon is known for its anti-aging properties and its high content of tannin and antioxidants. Tannin helps the body to fight against free radicals, which are responsible for the aging of our cells. Cinnamon also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is mainly used to stimulate the immune system, relieve digestion problems and treat diabetes naturally. So to stay young, we add cinnamon to our coffee!

Let’s make it!

1 shot of Coffee Tree Espresso + 20 g of condensed milk + 20 ml of orange syrup + orange zest

whipped cream + Cinnamon powder + Ice cubes.

Prepare a shot of espresso (40 ml).

Pour the coffee, condensed milk, orange zest, orange syrup, and ice into the shaker and shake.

Pour the mixture into a glass.

Add a little cinnamon and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon sticks.

Cloves to stay slim

Few people know how beneficial this spice can be for our bodies. Cloves not only has an anti-inflammatory action, and relieves muscle pain or rheumatism, but it’s also an anti-bacterial which soothes urinary tract infections, alleviates stomach aches, relieves bloating. Cloves are also good for the bladder and kidneys. The purifying action of cloves removes toxins, fats, and fluids from your body. If the fat consumed is not properly eliminated, this will result in significant weight gain.

Let’s make it!

1 pinch of cinnamon + 10 ml of liquid sugar +1 shot of Coffee Tree Espresso +1 pinch of ground cloves.

60 ml hot milk

Prepare 60 ml of hot milk and pour it into the cappuccino cup.

Add 10 ml of cinnamon syrup or cane sugar and stir.

Extract the espresso and pour it into the cup.

Add a pinch of cinnamon powder and a pinch of clove powder.

Ginger is good for staying svelte and sexy

Ginger is best known for its aphrodisiac effects and its ability to stimulate sex. But it’s not the only virtue that ginger has. It also helps to solve digestion problems and its richness in manganese has an effect on the accumulation of fats in the body. Ginger has, therefore, an interesting fat-burning effect for overweight people.

Let’s make it!

Prepare a large cup of Coffee Tree’s Coffee. Add ½ teaspoon of finely chopped fresh ginger and 1 pinch of cardamom. Stir with a cinnamon stick, let steep for a few moments.

Turmeric to stay toned

Turmeric is considered as one of the most powerful spices in the world and has proven to be super antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It protects the liver, promotes the expulsion of intestinal gases, regulates menstruation, is neuro cardio protective, bactericidal, tonic, and improves blood circulation, etc. One teaspoon a day is enough. When combined with black pepper the absorption rate of turmeric in the body increases by 154%.

Tip: Adding black peppercorns to your turmeric coffee is a great way to make sure you get the most out of it.

The slightly spicy taste of turmeric combines perfectly with the slightly bitter note of coffee proposed by Coffee Tree and the spiciness of ginger.

Let’s make it!

250 ml whole milk (for the vegan version, you can also use almond or rice milk) + 1 shot of Espresso Coffee Tree (25 g) + 1 tsp. coconut oil + 1 tsp. ground turmeric + ½ tsp. grated ginger + ¼ tsp. cinnamon + ¼ tsp. cardamom + A pinch of pepper + A pinch of nutmeg (freshly grated or powdered) + 1-2 tsp. honey (or other sweet ingredients).

Heat the coconut oil in a saucepan until it starts to melt.

Add grated ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, and nutmeg; stir.

Add the milk while continuing to mix and heat over low heat for 10 minutes. Do not boil!

Lather using a blender.

Pour the whole into a glass and add some milk.
