Every year, the Lycée Français International Marguerite Duras features the festival « Hors Les Murs » proposing theatre plays. That early May, Salon Saigon hosted the show, « The Night of Valognes » by Eric Emmanuel Schmitt, a variation on the myth of Don Juan.

Then, this Thursday, May 24 at 7pm, the restaurant Evita in District 2 will be transformed into a theater for a unique representation of Migraaaants by Visniec.

Today, in this globalized world, we are all migrants … But do we have the wisdom to understand our new identity? Do we have the intelligence to imagine a new model of society livable for all ? And above all, shall we find ways to impose a global peace and a universal state of law in order not to go to further violence and/or to Turn inhumanly inward? Terribly topical, this text is powerful and percussive and talk about Elihu, Fara, Anahita and about so many other migrants, ready to do anything to live a better life in Europe. A bittersweet text carried by « amateurs » actors very convincing.
