In 2007, a crazy French/Danish couple decided to start a tiny, intimate shop in Ho Chi Minh City. The idea was to sell only decorative products they personally liked, and to be surrounded by nice people. Due to the success of the first store in Thao Dien Street, they moved to a second one few streets away. Today nine years later the store became one of the most inspiring and beloved boutiques of HCMC.
Here the chic concept store dreamed by Sophie and Philip Meyer combines Design to Asian style decoration, furnishings & lighting. Multiple rooms, cozy corners, and alcoves display a plethora of unique wares Kinky Hand stitched cushion to fine pottery, ranges of scented candles, to the most elaborate armchair, tables and more. All pieces are consciously sourced, ethically produced or created by a designer and the one consistent criteria is that they must resonate with Contemporary Design HCMC living. There is there, a thing of beauty for everyone’s tastes.
Outdoor living space in Saigon becomes a focal point in everyday life, and Feeling Tropic understood it. So in the Boutique’s garden, you’ll find outdoor furniture in guaranteed durable quality. Classic teak, chic white sun lounges, recycled wooden furnishings, sophisticated dining settings, daybeds and more. Due to space restrictions, only a limited selection of products are shown, but there is much more available if you give your specific requests directly to the owner.
