What if you could help to save the planet with your wine choices?

Whatever you’re concerned about—oceans, climate action, cardiovascular research, hunger, injured animals, veganism, art projects, or politics, — there’s a wine out there for you. And no, not just to forget your woes!

Most of us have already drunk ‘Natural’, ‘organic’, ‘biodynamic’, wines that are kinder to the earth coming from healthier, longer-lasting vines, producing tastier fruits and so more character-driven wines. Yes, today grapes on steroids are no longer en vogue, wines that do good, as well as taste good, aren’t just anymore a passing fashion and are no longer on the wacky fringes of the sector.

To promote wine around the world, Bettane+DESSEAUVE invites every month a large number of international wineries to showcase their wines at their Club Food & Wine in HK, BEIJING and Vietnam. In this month’s event on November 20, in charming Mandala Wellness’s garden Ho Chi Minh City, the accent is put on sustainability with “Organic”, “bio-dynamic”, “natural” or “green wines” all lowering their impact on Earth’s and our health. You will discover there the terrific world of sustainable wines planted in unique soil, producing very particular wines with a very specific sense of terroir.

More than 20 sustainable wines will be on show: Reds, Whites, Roses, and Sparklings from Australia, Austria, and France, paired with exquisite food coming from Feuro – Modern European Cuisine, fresh vegetables from KameMark, and locally-made 4Ps mozzarella, to better appreciate the flavors and the aromas of the wines.

To whet one’s appetite we can already announce that Paxton Organic and Biodynamic wines from Australia, a few wines from Marrenon and Stephane Ogier in France; wines from Ampelidae and Thierry Germain two leaders in the sustainable wine movement in the Loire Valley, Alain Chabanon’s wine from Languedoc (France) and Fred Lohmer’s wines, an Austrian icon, to name a few, will be there.

If you’re paying attention to the impact of your behavior on the environment and extending that sense of responsibility to wine drinking choices or if you’re just looking to spent a nice evening and discover new unusual products, we can assure you that during this event, you will not compromise on taste!
