Dragonfly Theatre presents “Constellations” A play by Nick Payne

Marianne, a scientist, and Roland, a beekeeper, meet, fall in love and split up again. Or do they? What if one decision changed their lives? ‘Constellations’ explores their relationship as it twists and turns through the infinite possibilities of time, defying the boundaries of reality as we know it.

The play was first performed at The Royal Court Theater, London in 2012, quickly moving to the West End’s Duke of York Theater. In November 2012, Constellations was named the winner of the best play category at the Evening Standard Theater Awards, making the 29-year-old Payne the youngest winner of the award. It premiered on Broadway in 2015 receiving a nomination for a Tony Award and three Drama League Award nominations including Best Play. Since then, it has been performed around the world including stints in Los Angeles, Perth, and Beijing.
