After the huge success of his last livestream from the Picasso Villa (Villa Californie) in Cannes, showcasing the house with impressive architectural projections and special effects, Florian will once again delight his fans with a very special event.
On February 20st, the great-grandson of Pablo Picasso will do a Livestream from the living room of the villa, which used to serve as Picasso’s painting studio. The room will be transformed back to its original state to resemble what it looked like when Pablo was working there, filled with paintings, sketches, and sculptures. The show will be shot using an immersive and interactive way of filming and broadcasted live on social media.

During Florian’s 90 min set, artist Cyril Kongo will paint an artwork in the back. With Florian being adopted from Vietnam by the Picasso family and Cyril Kongo being of Vietnamese origin as well, both artists have a very strong connection to the country. This is why they decided to partner with Maria Bravo and Eva Longoria’s Global Gift Foundation on this special project. Cyril Kongo’s masterpiece will be auctioned off and all the profits will be donated to the Quang Chau orphanage in Vietnam in partnership with the Global Gift Foundation.
Do not miss out on this unique opportunity and be sure to tune in here on February 20th at 4:00 PM CET / 10:00 AM ET / 10 PM ICT.
Florian Picasso
Picasso is no stage name; Florian is the great-grandson of the mighty Pablo Picasso. He was adopted when he was 3 months old from the Go Vapour orphanage in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, by Marina Ruiz-Picasso. He grew up in Paris and then in Cannes, soaking up the artistic atmosphere of the Villa Californie where he later installed his music studio, just like Pablo did with his painting studio before him. Florian started mixing for fun when he was 13, at the time he was mostly interested in hip-hop before discovering EDM and artists like Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, or Daft Punk. This hobby quickly turned into a passion and a couple of years later, Florian decided to completely dedicate himself to music and to carry on the family’s artistic legacy. He now plays shows all around the world and collaborates with some of the industry’s biggest names like Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki. Most importantly, he is writing his own story with his own signature sound, never limiting his creative mind and artistic drive.
Cyril Kongo
After painting in the streets for more than 30 years and working so that graffiti can be perceived differently, Cyril Kongo is now considered a pioneer who understood how to break the codes and build something new through his contemporary and “Avant-Garde” point of view. Thanks to his Vietnamese and french origins, his influences are multicultural, his level of excellence, and his capacity to create new bridges between opposite worlds has forged his style and career. Cyril Kongo has been able to associate his name with excellence, abundance, and virtuosity. He comes from a marginalized environment which has been set aside of the institutionalized art industry but today this visionary artist is known internationally. His singular universe and his strong identity allowed him to collaborate with the most prestigious names of fashion such as Hermès, Chanel, Richard Mille but also with luxurious brands based on art and craftsmanship such as La Cornue, Pinel&Pinel, Atelier Victor, Daum…
