A section of Nguyen Thuong Hien Street (D3) in HCMC has been designated as a new “food street” at night since December as part of plans to develop the town’s economy. The new food street, which spans 368 meters between Dien Bien Phu and Nguyen Dinh Chieu, is open daily from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and houses 92 eateries as well as dozens of shops selling clothing, shoes, beauty products, and other items. Time Out Named District 3 in downtown HCMC as one of the neighborhoods “you have to visit right now,” and recommends also foodies visit Nguyen Thuong Hien Street, which is known for popular street foods.
