The 7th annual Ao Dai Festival kicked on this October 11th and features a month-long celebration of the beauty of the Ao Dai and the traditions which surround it.
The festival will also bring concerts, talk panels, as well as a showcase of ao dai styles from famous contemporary Vietnamese designers to honor Vietnam’s national dress from past to present.
Events such as the Ao Dai parade will take place on Nguyen Hue walking street, while others will be held around iconic city landmarks, from an Ao Dai drawing contest at the Ho Chi Minh City Central Sciences Library to Ao Dai inspirational programs at locations like Ben Thanh Market and the Central Post Office.
