Here, HBSO has created a gold-standard production, remaining faithful to the feel of the 19th-century original. Tchaikovsky’s last great score for ballet, with its lively motifs and bewitching melodies, draws us into the story of Clara, a brave young girl celebrating with her family on Christmas Eve. When the clock chimes midnight, Clara enter the realm of dream with toy soldiers and mischievous mice whisking to the Land of Sweets in the arms of her Prince in a blizzard of ballerina revealing a wonderful world of confection.

Set in the 19th-century English winter wonderland, this luminous, classical ballet will capture your heart and imagination and will transport you to a magical world made of glittering winter realm and Fairies in candy-floss pink.

This ravishing re-imagined version of the evergreen Christmas spectacular featured by HBSO remains an unparalleled holiday entertainment for both children and adults.

With the participation of the talents Do Hoang Khang Ninh – Clara, Ho Phi Diep – Nutcracker, Tran Hoang Yen – Sugarplum Fairy, Naoki Tomikawa – Cavalier, Yuki Hiroshige – Snow Queen, conducted by the famous Swiss conductor Emmanuel Siffert.
