Lune Production features until the end of February the first legit Vietnamese Cirque: the AO show at Saigon Opera House. Mixing the traditional and the modern Vietnamese culture, this acrobatic and artistic performance combining dance, acrobatics, and music altogether, depict a lively and cheerful series of sketches about Vietnam. The name of the show takes its meaning from the words “village” and “city” in Vietnamese and is the perfect representation of what you experience during their performance: some “Ah” and “Oh” of admiration.

Tuan Le, the director of the performance, captures here the essence of the Vietnamese culture and takes us on an unforgettable journey combining love and time. Truthfully mesmerizing, the choreography hypnotizes you and gracefully incorporate in the ballet various accessories made out of bamboo. Always present in the Vietnamese culture, bamboo has been chosen, as it is the key material for the show but also a representation of the Vietnamese people by its characteristics: straightforwardness, beauty, strength and youth. Visually breathe taking; the show inevitably steals your heart!

The AO Show is on at the Opera House until the end of February. Excellent, authentic and refreshing, this Show is a must-see if you are looking for a new cultural activity in Saigon.
