NEW CULINARY TREND – THE PIZZA WITH ANTS AND SCORPION

Last week, the Evel Pie restaurant in Las Vegas, made the buzz with its grasshopper pizza. This week it’s Luzzo’s La Pizza Napoletana in New York that is up to date with its pizza with ants and scorpion rightly called the ‘Insects Pizza’, which will be part of the menu from September.

 

 

 

 

“I think it’s the future,” confirmed Chef Luliano in an interview with Rachael Ray Everyday and he adds: “ants have a taste of smoked fish. The scorpion is more a decoration; it looks like chips “. The ants come from an organic farm in Maine, and are fried in olive oil and then put on slices of lemon and placed on the pizza. The scorpion placed in the center, adds add some crunch to the pizza.
