Every year in Hitachi Seaside Park, in the city of Hitachinaka in the Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, the countryside turn blue with a springtime sea of flowers blending ground and sky. 90 minutes from Tokyo, every year this most spectacular natural show is due to the 4.5 million Neophilias, also known as Baby blue eyes who bloom 20 hectares of land. The park also welcome throughout the year, various flower-blooming events presenting millions of Daffodils, Tulips, and other beauties.
Visitors can also enjoy many other activities such as cycling trails and a small amusement park, including a Ferris wheel. The best time to witness the show is from mid-April through early June.
