The Phase One of Saigon Centre was built in 1996 and is located on the busy pedestrian area of Le Loi Boulevard in the District 1 of HCMC. Building on the success of the initial development, Saigon Center, Phase Two opens this month and aims to be The leading international Shopping Mall in the City center.

Today, a shopaholic is born!

Phase Two of Saigon Centre consists of a new seven-story retail Mall with a total floor area of 55,000 square meters. The Mall houses more than 400 international and local brands as well as the leading Japanese retailer, Takashimaya. Takashimaya HCMC ’s Department store is massive, and contains over 15,000 square meters of shopping. It creates a large one stop shopping lifestyle experience with an International and Japanese touch.

About 25% of the tenants in Saigon Centre’s retail Mall is new-to-market, and includes well-known International brands debuting in Vietnam such as Carolina Herrera, Kenzo, Moschino, Stuart Weitzman, Armani Exchange, Kiton, and Casadai.

To provide the unique Japanese lifestyle shopping experience to the customers, the Takashimaya department store represents over 210 brands. A lot come from Vietnam and Japan but there are also some worldwide mid range brands like Kate Spade, Banana Republic, Benetton, BeBe, Furla, and Cole Haan also available in the department store area. To relax after shopping, around 30% of Saigon Centre’s retail Mall has been set-aside for presenting visitors a wide selection of about 50 restaurants, cafes, and food kiosks.

Some of the dining options at Saigon Centre include the Oedo Japanese Food Village, inspired by an old alley of Tokyo and comprises seven authentic Japanese restaurants. Another option is Ember Grill, serving Italian fusion cuisine and over 100 types of cocktails. The popular Japanese restaurant Ike Maru will also be opening its first branch at the Mall. Another excellent choice is Crystal Jade, world well known for his splendid Xao Long Bao.

Takashimaya’s Food Court area focuses on diversified food from around the world, including cuisines such as Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and Thai. In particular, some popular Japanese options include a Kuhara hotpot of Kayanoya restaurant, and a series of well-known restaurants specializing in fresh Sashimi, Sushis and seafood provided by Kuroson from Singapore.
