There’s quite a buzz surrounding the Lost Boys in the past year so when it was suggested again this year that the team go in search of where to find the best of Saigon, we were happy to oblige!
As its name suggests, the mood at the Lost Boys is set to relax at this bar set in district 7 of Ho Chi Minh City. This is mostly thanks to a tropical and comfy but refined atmosphere, the warm welcoming of the American owner Kila and its team, and also to a soundtrack that shows some serious flair. From local bands playing world music to jazz or funk, or simply a great playlist, the place is always on musical fire.
Since just last year, much has been done to turn this space into a tropical paradise: palms surrounding waterfalls and a Koi pond that draws you in and makes you forget the constant hustle and bustle of the town. A bar lined with knick-knacks is at the heart of it, featuring sofas all around letting everyone drink and talk in good company. We challenge you, after a few hours and a couple of cocktails, not to snuggle up on the cushions!
Even the food at the Lost Boys is a visual and tasty feast, sure to please everyone. The burgers, paired with a sacred fire golden ale draft beer, melts in your mouth, the barbecue and the Mexican food make you wish to go more often to Mexico and the wood-fired pizzas with a few glasses of Prosecco make you feel like you’re on a date in Roma. Every Monday and Tuesday from 7 pm to 11 pm you can even get your pizza fever cured with the promotional offer ‘One Get one’.
If conviviality is this place’s first love, the sport would have been its second, and there, you can have it all and watch your favorite team on a large HD screen or have a turn at the dartboard or pool tables in case you fancy a solo evening. Yes, indeed, it should be understood, the place has something for everyone at just a skip away from District 1. You get us, Lost Boys!
