Tran Dang Dang Koa had a dream, to discover the world on a motorcycle. So he left one day in June 2017, his native country Vietnam, with one idea in mind explore the North and South of Europe, Central and North America, Australia, Southeast Asia before returning to Vietnam and all this in 365 days.
The first part of his trip, not including Vietnam covered 20,000 km across 22 countries: Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bulgaria , Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and finally the last destination France which marked the end of this first stage.
500 liters of gasoline, 25 bottles of engine oil and a wheelset were needed to complete this first 150-days motorcycle stage.
He tasted dishes he never did before, discovered different cultures, witnessed world heritage sites and seen landscapes he only watch on TV before.
“It takes a lot of effort and hard preparation,” Khoa told Facebook, “but that does not mean it’s impossible. Continue and fight for your dreams and what you believe. Never give up, because after all we only live once!
After visiting Paris, Tran Dang Dang Koa dreams already about the next destination he will discover: America
