19 July – The Noise We See – Private Preview – Asiahues – The Hummingbird Cafe Saigon

Artworks from artists Nathan Larson, Phan Dinh Khanh, and Darren Tynan at the private preview of ‘The Noise We See’ at The Hummingbird Cafe Saigon this July 19. The three internationally exhibited use modern photography and alternative printing methods.

Phan Dinh Khanh overlaps several layers of images, with color alterations, before printing unique results on canvas. The result is a hazy manifestation of entangled memories.  With the help of a drone camera, Nathan Larson photographs Ho Chi Minh City from above, and silkscreen and transfer print onto canvas. Darren Tynan directly interferes with the television signal, and then photograph the portraits that emerge through the glitches.
